Reflection, Challenge, & Belief.  Three words that describe our journey this semester.  Sustainability and growth cannot happen without reflection and reflection cannot happen without a continuous desire to improve.  At Liberty Academy, remaining static is never an option. This fall, we welcomed new staff, new students (50%), and new programs designed to keep us on the cutting edge of progressive programming around the region.  Partnership, contextual learning, personalized scheduling, and student driven experience continue to be our hubs of pathway development. Our students who have been here for a while have great stories to tell and our new students have started to transform (some in very profound ways and some in very subtle ways).  Regardless, our students settled in, had a very successful fall term, and continue to find belief in what we do, how we do it, and the opportunities they have to “do school” differently.
